so first up - check out this picture:
notice how it's a picture of the mobipocket suspense/thriller best seller list.
Got that?
Awesome.
What book is at number ONE?
That's right - killerbyte or if you prefer paperback or kindle, killerbyte .
killerbyte is the first in the _Byte series.
It's where you meet me for the first time.
And really, you wanna do that - because later on, I take y'all along on some pretty scary/awesome adventures. :)
This is the first time KILLERBYTE has hit number one - it did however spend a good month at number two last May.
This is truly awesome.
Cat is very very happy.
And when Cat's happy... we're all happy. :D
If you haven't already done so - go read killerbyte... and enjoy the ride. We are.

Answer your freaking phone!
No, really... I hate it when people don't answer.
So answer, okay?
Now that we have that settled... moving right along.
If you're reading EXACERBYTE at the moment (Cat and I truly appreciate your support) you'll know that we have a new team member.
SSA Kurt Henderson.
That's about it really. :D

What about you?
It's some zero dark shitty time of the morning when no decent person is out of their warm bed. And yet I am. Such is my life.
There was no coffee.
There was no cat food.
Seems I haven't fully adjusted to not having Mac around. This time of night certainly makes things fuzzy and seem less shiny and a little more internally reflective. I'm sitting in the car.
Lee's gone in search of coffee. He muttered something about me being impossible - I think there was a jesture involved.
It doesn't really matter - have iPod on, am listening to Modern West. Even the lack of coffee and zero dark shitty hour cannot stop this music bringing a smile to my face.
So much has changed in my life and yet much is still the same. It's quite bizarre really.
I still roll out of bed when my phone goes in the middle of the night - I'm still chasing bad guys - I'm still working with the Butterfly Foundation kids - my ex-brother in law Eddie is still the biggest annoyance I've ever had the displeasure to have met - Delta is still a close team - Caine is still our SAC - O'Hare is still the Director - Mac is still dead - Hawk is still out there somewhere. One day he will slip up, and I'll have him.
Time to go -Lee's back with coffee and there is a crime scene waiting for us. Sam's already there.

And now for your reading pleasure and total excitement...
Tonight the kindle edition of EXACERBYTE hit Amazon.
Excited?
Hell I am.
If you have a kindle go download it... you can be reading in under a minute, and trust me this story is one you won't want to stop reading. :)
Not to put a too finer point on it... we kick some serious ass.
And one day I promise I will tell you why Marines aren't always the good guys when Cat's writing. One day.
